We have heard of this place from some other people and when I saw mixed reviews on Yelp I was a little skeptical about going there.I should have stuck to my gut feelings, instead we went there last night. My wife ordered a salad and chicken francese with pasta and I ordered the pasta fagula. the salad had a hand fill of lettuce and a few croutons with some dressing on the side. The chicken was bland she said.It was like something was missing. Now me on the other hand thought the soup was a zero. The pasta in it was mush and the soup was tomato soup with beans.when i went on Yelp to check on this place there was a picture of the duck in blue berry sauce. The duck wasn't crispy as it should have been and the sauce was not sweet like blue berries are.As a matter of fact it was flat. We had enough, so we skipped the dessert and when I got the check the duck was 26.95. overpriced for the dish. O by the way, its not on the menu but it is considered a special MY opinion is to find another place to spend your money.

We had high hopes for Arrabiatis because it is only about ten minutes away. Huge lunch menu with every possible permutation of pizzas, entrees, salads and sides. The restaurant was virtually empty at 1 pm despite its large size, which told us something was wrong. It was the food. Eggplant parm had a smidgeon of cheese on a large portion of inedible eggplant. Tasted like soft, dry cardboard. Reminded me of frozen Celentano from the supermarket. Sauce was jarringly tart. My wife's clam sauce was very oily and loaded with garlic. This low quality food was no bargain. Looked at the pizza on the way out and it appeared no better than our entrees. Not recommended.

Good service along w/honoring reservations, well prepared specials and dietary alterations for their customers, are all reasons to come back.

First time diner, and will definitely be back!!!! Fantastic food, and great service. The chicken parm was crunchy, and sauce was deep and flavorful. My husband's meatball sub was huge - nicely crusted bread and huge meatballs. Great rolls with garlic and butter before dinner. The only negative was my son's pizza. Phenomenal crust with nasty, greasy top...in fairness he got the bbq pizza, but it was not done well. We will try pizza again, but traditional pie.

My family and I moved to the area from Chicago(land of awesome eateries) and found this place to our new "go to" spot. The food is beyond creatively delicious. Portions are generous and the staff( both owners and non-owners) are fun and servicial. Love Arrabiatas!

Went there for dinner and happen to catch the early bird (served until 5:30) and it was also happy hour. Had the salad, chicken francese with roasted pots, hot rolls with olive oil to dip, cannoli and coffee for dessert $13.99 It was a very good meal and the service was great. Also, if you pay cash they deduct 10%. Can't beat that! Recommend.

Felt like pizza after a weekend in Austin and pizza we had. Chicken marsala pizza is the best! Eat it in loses its firmness if taken home. Just saying! Also all the pasta dishes and veal specials. The owner is friendly and courteous!

Very nice Italian food, Elyse was our waitress and was very helpful, kind and informed about delicious choices from their dinner menu. Highly recommend for a great meal!

The restaurant was so noisy that people could not have a normal conversation/ Service was terrible. Took far too long just to get rolls and even the salad. The noise level took all of the enjoyment out of dining. Food was OK,but nothing to brag about. The staff seemed overwhelmed to handle the delay in meals from the kitchen. Not worth going out of your way or traveling to experience not an inexpensive meal. ,

This is the fourth restaurant in this space over the last six years. My wife and I decided to try Arrabiatas with three friends, who had heard mixed reviews. I got off to a bad start when I made my reservation. The young girl that answered the phone acted as if she could care less about the reservation. If I were only going with my wife, I would have gone to another restaurant. When we arrived, the host tried to put us at a very unfavorable table. After telling him we were very unhappy with the table, he agreed to move us. The five of us decided to order from the Summer Special Menu, which is soup or salad, entree with pasta, chocolate cake or cannoli, and non-alcoholic drink for $15.95. There is also a 10% discount for cash. Complementary, freshly bake, plain and garlic rolls are also served. Price wise, this is a very good deal. The Caesar salad was crisp and fresh; it was not over dressed. The mixed green salad was liked by others in my party. Two of us ordered Veal Marsala. Each serving had three thin and slimy veal scallops and sliced fresh mushrooms in a lightly thickened sauce. However, the taste was OK. My wife had Veal Parmesan that consisted of a large cutlet over Angel Hair Pasta. This was the best entree served. Others had Mussels (some mussels were good, others not so good) and Shrimp Scampi (five large shrimp over pasta). The desserts, chocolate cake and cannolis, were very good. My wife and I probably will not return for another visit. I cannot speak for the others in my party.

Arrabiatas was a very nice place to meet a good friend for lunch recently. She and I had about 1-hour to share midday and this italian eatery was convenient to both of us. The menu looked very good with loads of italian dishes. Our choice? A large veggie pizza. The service was friendly and not pushy; we talked alot before ordering. Once pizza was ordered our booth time before food arrived was about 15 minutes. OMG, yes, OMG! The veggie pizza at Arrabiatas was fantastic. It's not often a place can serve up pizza that doesn't have me eating the first slice entirely... then setting to the side the crusts with each slice eaten. Nope. Not here. Their pizza crusts were very tasty, crisp, almost buttery/flaky. The clientele was of the older variety and even gave my friend the "wink wink" in passing. C'mon boys..... you've finished your rounds of golf.... and eaten. Stick to your world. LOL Arrabiatas was good, indeed.

Why are these guys three star? They are always packed for dinner its easily a 4.5 for the area. I love the sauce. Meat sauce and baked ravioli and a side of carbonara! We are regulars and never have eaten in. Okay the bread knots were dry and the side salad is pretty lame. Its almost a waste of lettuce and effort.

I had the chicken Parmesan and it was excellent. The pasta was good as well as the source. We got the early bird special and the price was great included salad and an excellent cannoli. Others had duck and loved it. The gluten free menu is extensive.

We always orders pizza here and it's was always really good until recently. Every time we have ordered in the last couple of months the pizza has not been correct as ordered and just didn't measure up to what it has been. Don't know if there are new pizza makers or just loss of passion. Spoke with an employee on the phone to let her know the order was wrong and food cold up on delivery. All she could tell me is that the driver had 3 deliveries to make as if it is expected to be cold sometimes and that's ok. So I ask to speak with the owner who didn't seem to be bothered if he loss a customer. He didn't offer to send a correct order out. He do offer to give me 10% off my next order ($2.40) which will never happen now. I'll be picking up mellow mushroom or Anthony's and bring it home. I may only be one customer but every customer should be treated as though they matter because they do! Pizza cold and hardly any sauce even though we had ordered extra sauce and sauce on the side, because they never seem to put extra on pizza when you order it (none was received on the side)

I wish I could rate this place highly. It's a nice friendly comfortable place. Reasonably good service , reasonable prices on the basic stuff. It's a shame the food is so thoroughly mediocre. My wife and mother's pasta and eggplant dishes were passable but certainly not memorable. I ordered a roast duck special that was overcooked, dry , tough , and very high priced, especially for this kind of place ( $27.95). Probably should have sent it back but who wants to go through that kind of hassle when you want a quiet meal and a quick trip home (not me). Probably should stick to the pizza if you go here.

Definitely order the rigatoni ala vodka, it is delicious. The pasta is tender and they don't skimp on the portions. One meal could easily be shared. Nice atmosphere, it can get a little loud, but it's because it is always packed. The bread was delicious and a perfect combo with the garlic dipping oil. Don't miss the chocolate cake and especially the hand-made cannoli's. Very accommodating staff!

I don't know why I torture myself going back here. I guess because I really like their pizza and being from NJ good pizza is hard to come by that compares to up North. The food is good but nothing outstanding. Their pizza is very good and the wait staff is very attentive. What rubs me the wrong way is the rude owner and hostesses who must take lessons from him. He acts like he could care less if you eat there or not.

Good luck getting a late night dinner. I went in there at 9:32 pm to get a pizza & was told that there was no one there to make a pie, although the manager was speaking to me. Appararently, they close at 10:00 pm, but if you want food, you have to be there before 9:30; they can't afford the labor cost.

As it was described by someone in out party, this establishment is a nondescript New York style pizzeria/restaurant. However the service was fantastic, knowledgeable, and fast. The portions were quite filling and the early bird special could not be beat. I will be returning.

Ate here again and food was stellar! Impeccable service by a competent team of employees, friendly manager/owner, fabulous tasting italian food, large portions and very reasonable pricing. Poor reviews must be from previous owners because this place is excellent!

It's a little above average. I had a pizza that I took home to the family. The service was very friendly and I didn't wait long at all. I would probably order from them again. NY style crust very thin..

Food was amazing! Veal pram was to die for along with everything else at the table. A true passionate italian restaurant. Service was also excellent. Our waiter, Jonathan has an amazing talent for reading minds (sounds crazy I know) ask for him and you will leave the restaurant full, satisfied and mind blown!

Just had a grandma pizza pie, very disappointed. Very little sauce, minced garlic was on the pie in bunches, no care in making the pizza, only redeeming value was the the dough was nice and fresh

Ordered a grandmas pizza, rice ball and 2 paninis for takeout. Was told pizza has a thin Sicilian crust - wrong. Regular pizza dough shaped into a rectangle but it was ok but obviously not really a grandmas pizza. Rice ball - tasteless, bland and made with long grain rice with the tiniest smattering of beef, peas, sauce and cheese in the middle and a whole bunch of unseasoned white rice I would get at a Chinese restaurant. I don't even want to talk about the paninis. I've had enough.

If I could no stars I would. Went here last night with my family for a nice dinner, bear in mind I was with my family and we eat out alot. Service was horrible. They tried to over charge us on our wine, and our sides when we asked for the manager, a older short gentelman came over and said "Im the owner", whats the problem. We explained that we were overcharged, he then proceeded to quiz us on what we had, in a very acusitory manner, then proceeded to yell at us, emarassing himself and our group, then he tried to bargain with us instead of just fixing the problem and keeping us happy, He was very condescending and rude. How unfortunate for him if he keeps it up he wont be a restaurant owner for long.

Very surprised to see the other reviews here being so negative. My family and I ate at Arrabiatas last night and were very impressed! We aren't from the area and were just trying to get in a quick dinner on a tight schedule, so we didn't have time to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere or anything. But when we told our server, "Little Mikey", that we were on a time crunch, he made sure our food came out extra fast. Like insanely fast. Like so fast that we were amazed it could be that fast and still taste so fresh. Our table was basically three different kinds of parmesan, one as a sandwich and two as the platter option. It's so easy to drown chicken parm or really any parm in sauce, but they succeeded in avoiding this. The breading was crispy, and the meats weren't at all overdone. The sauce was so good, my mother actually asked for a little extra. They brought her a little bowl full with a spoon! The broccoli was superb. I've never had it like that in a restaurant, but it happens to be my favorite way to prepare it at home. And the garlic mashed potatoes were heavenly. You can tell they use real potatoes and real garlic. The staff was incredibly friendly, and everyone smiled at us and greeted us. Our drink glasses were kept full, and it just felt like a real friendly, familial Italian meal despite the fact that we were in a hurry. Though we live a ways away, we definitely intend to return. (And if the locals don't appreciate Arrabiatas enough, we'll sure be happy to have you guys on the south end of the county!)

I ordered the carbonara. My pasta was undercooked and the sauce was lackluster. With it came a Caesar salad that tasted like they bought the cheap dressing down the street at publix. Definitely not going back.

The reviews on this cite are sooo wrong. This restaurant is the place to go for Italian food, at least if you want REAL ITALIAN FOOD. I have tried other places near by and I couldn't be paid to go back. Arrabiatas is the place to go, my family and I go here every weekend since they opened (over a year ago) and have NEVER had a bad experience. From the food to the service everything is perfect! The pizza when they say New York style they mean it! My favorite dish is their Blueberry DUCK, so flavorful and crisp, you will never want to try anything else, but you should because everything is fresh and great tasting. Its refreshing to see a family restaurant serving really good food and at a great price! I will never go anywhere else.

Wow! Great Italian food in Florida! This place was recommended by a guy I recently met who is a cousin of the owner. Thanks Darren. I thought I'd be nice and give it a try based on his recommendation. It's situated in a strip mall, but looks can be deceiving. We started with the famous Arrabiata calamari. Awesome! I love it on the spicy side and perfectly cooked. I had linguine with clams and the rest of my party got different things. Mine clams came perfect, in the shell over a generous portion of linguine. The sauce was killer as I ate the whole dish. The bread is like Arthur Ave, the salad was fresh and everyone raved about their meals. A must-go-to if you live in Palm Beach Co. or near. Worth the drive. Our server was quite the comedian and the owner walked around to check on our table as well. A def. go-back...thanks. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food and the quality.

Average food. Rude hostess staff. They are so rude on the phone. No better in person. Never smile. Never greet. Don't hold the door even if your hands are full and there are six of them standing there.

I totally do not understand the low reviews. The $5 house wines are palatable. The pizza was perfectly cooked and prepared exactly as we requested. The pasta was perfect - al dente. Even better than the prices and the food is the service. From the greeting when you arrive all the way down to the busboys, the service is impeccable. Little Mike and Lisa are terrific servers, and are wonderfully supported by Blue and Kurt. Forget the low ratings, try the place and make up your own mind.

They've been open a few months but we didn't know it. No local advertising or noticeable sign until they put up a sandwich board at the far end of the shopping center. They'll have to try to stand out to survive. When we finally discovered them we got take out pizza, a veal parm platter with spaghetti and calzone. All were very good. Nice gravy (red sauce), and al dente pasta, thin, crisp crust NY pizza and meat sauce on the pasta with no up charge. We'll be back. Hope they'll still be there.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
